i agree that it seems nyc is an inherent part of the tumblr scene. sadly, if we had a kc tumblr meetup, yourdp & i would make a sad, yet tumbloyal gathering.
We could easily recreate such an event here in KC! Find a bar where we can’t find a seat, ask the waiter/waitress to kindly mark up our drinks $3-4, and every half hour change our accents to simulate meeting a wide range of people living in New York. Oh and at least one spin of an empty beer bottle to honor lovepuppy’s absence. Voila! Our own Tumblr meet up.
