Fallout Boy released Folie a Deux late last year which turned out to be a surprisingly melodic and very enjoyable album as opposed to the politically charged previously released Infinity on High. I have it, I listen to it and like both.

Another band I place in a similar genre and sound of FoB is Brand New. Still a little bit angry at their parents for god knows what but able to produce some good music from this misunderstood angst - borderline emo and strong enough to hide the tears. Works for me. These were all promising factors as I was greatly anticipating their upcoming album to be released this month called Daisy. Thanks to some insider connects I was able to get my hands on this release and let you me tell you, this album is a horrific piece of fucking shit. A band takes 3 years off from producing a record and heaven forbid you expect something epic and worth the purchase to be released.

My policy of torrent, sample, then buy will continue to stand for this exact reason. I just gained two Chipotle trips by avoiding this mishap. Sorry Katie.
